Blue Sky Energy Corporation Presents New Energy Solutions at UAMMI CrossTalk Conference

Blue Sky Energy Corporation - September 14, 2022

Event brings together world experts to share mineral and composite industry trends and research

SOUTH OGDEN, UTAH – Sept. 14, 2022 – Blue Sky Energy (BSE) Corporation CEO, Alan Hall, will be a keynote speaker at Utah Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Initiative (UAMMI) CrossTalk Conference on Sept. 22 in Price, Utah. He will give an overview on company’s goals to remediate, repurpose and convert coal waste into energy efficient by-products.

UAMMI is a federal- and state-funded initiative that brings together public, private, community, industry and education partners to assure growth and sustainability of Utah’s advanced material and manufacturing industry. The CrossTalk features global experts across the energy materials industries discussing key trends and research initiatives.

Hall will discuss BSE’s first innovative coal processing plant that will be operational in Price, Utah in November 2022. It is designed to convert coal and coal waste (coal fines) into useable, energy efficient by-products, including crude oil, carbon neutral coal CHAR and industrial compressed gasses. These products will be used by numerous industries, primarily in multiple non-fuel burning applications.

According to Hall, “as global climate change continues to be a concern, we need innovative ways to develop cleaner energy products that will help save the planet. That’s what our plants are designed to do.”

BSE expects its first coal processing plant to ingest 75,000 tons of coal refuse and generate up to 24,750 tons of industrial-grade charcoal, 187,500 barrels of crude oil and high volumes of commercial gasses annually.

The UAMMI CrossTalk event will be held on Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on the Utah State University Campus. For more event information and to register, use this link.
